Remember the movie “The Russians are Coming”? Well, they came, and I met them. These Russians must have come from that part of Russia where they didn’t eat high on the hog. They were all little. One thing I admired was their leather boots, very practical in combat. They also wore a lot of medals and orders on their tunics. I suspect it was in lieu of money, food, etc.
We got along well.
